Port Moody, BC
Complete.
Connected.
Oceanfront.
A jewel of a community on the shores of Burrard Inlet, Flavelle Oceanfront presents the last opportunity in Greater Vancouver to craft an oceanside development for all to enjoy.
The 34-acre historic site has been an important piece of the City of Port Moody’s physical landscape for over 100 years. Located on the south shore of the Burrard Inlet, the site is neighboured by Rocky Point Park to the east, and the Pacific Coast Terminals to the west. After the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1886 disconnected Port Moody’s urban fabric from the waterfront, the Flavelle Oceanfront redevelopment plan will knit the community back together and provide public access to an oceanfront that is second to none.

AN ECONOMIC ENGINE
Family-Owned, Family-Supporting.
Beginning in 1905, the Flavelle Sawmill and its workers have proudly supported thousands of families and helped build the economic and social backbone of Port Moody. The century-long history of Flavelle is a testament to the opportunities BC’s forestry industry provided to workers from all corners of the world, among whom are relatives of the family which today owns the property. Flavelle Oceanfront will build on the site’s legacy of supporting Port Moody’s economy by providing thousands of new homes for families and places for people to work and connect, including light industrial space.
